Project - Tomb Kings finished / Projekt Gruftkönige abgeschlossen

So finally the Tomb King Projekt is finished \o/
It was a long way with some ups and downs.

Several "problems" caused that it took more time than planned.
First of all the miniatures were completely assembled what meant that i could not have reached some parts that i had to to make it a better look. Next was the Primer. The minis were primered with Army Painter Bone Spray but the Sphinx. As very often that Primer has not worked correctly and so all minis had a thick Primer Layer that flatted most of the details, god beware it wasnt my fault.


The minis came to me primered so i had the choice to clean all off and start anew but as some of you may know, the Army Painter Primers have some Oil in it so it wouldnt work to clean with Aceton on Plastic Minis. And finally most of the moldlines were still on the models and i had to clean them too..for sure me forgot a few. But all in all it wasnt anybodys fault. Things are as they are and so i tried my best to make all in all a good paintjob out of it :D

Es ist geschafft :D Das Projekt Gruftkönige ist abgeschlossen \o/
Es war ein langer Weg mit einigen Hochs und Tiefs

Einige Probleme traten auf die das Ganze etwas in die Länge zogen.
Allem voran war alles bereits gebaut was in diesem Fall dafür sorgte das ich nicht an alle Stellen herankam wie ich geren gekommen wäre ;) Als nächstes gab es ein Problem mit der Grundierung. Aus irgend einem Grund und das scheint sehr oft zu passieren bei Army Painter Grundierung ( spreche aus eigener Erfahrung ) gab es kein sauberes Sprühergebnis sondern eher eine dicke Schicht die einen sehr großen Teil der Details zugekleistert hat. Army Painter ist einfach zu dick in seiner Konsistenz und hat einen Ölanteil, deshalb ist an Entfärben mit Aceton bei Platikminis nicht zu denken gewesen. Und schlussendlich waren die Modelle noch mit jeder Menge Gussgrate übersäht die noch abgearbeitet werden mussten. Aber daran ist niemand Schuld, so etwas passiert halt nun mal. :D Nichts desto Trotz habe ich versucht doch noch einen anständigen Maljob daraus zu machen.

So first part was a squad of 14 Tomb guards painted in level 3. Painted in the classical Tomb Kings color Sheme from Games Workshop

next step was 3 Sepulchral Stalkers.
Those were a lot of fun to paint and i had the chance to play a bit with my AirBrush :D

Der nächste Teil bestand aus 3 Grabjägern und die haben richtig Spass gemacht, da ich hier ein bissl mit meiner AirBrush spielen konnte :D

Part 3 was the Necrosphinx and the customers wish was that the Stone Body will look like Jade with marble effects in it.

Teil 3 war die Necrosphinx. Der Kunde wünschte den Steinkörper in einem Jade mit Marmor Effeckt.

And here the final Part. The Warsphinx with Priest. Some extra minis are added which will move to the Tomb Guard Squad ;)

So und hier nun das finale Stück, die Kriegs Sphinx mit Priester und einige extra Miniaturen die in Grabwächter gestellt werden :D
